Just wondering, I don't think we are covered under the employment act in the first place... cause we are considered as executives ?

Executives are not covered under Employment Act.

However, for the revised maternity benefits, it is under Part III of Children Development Co-SAvings Act (CDC) which covers all parents of SIngaporeans, including managerial, executive and confidential staff.

Under CDC, employee is entitled to maternity benefits if;

1) chid is S'porean Citizen
2) CHild's parents are legally married
3) Employee worked for employer for more than 90 days b4 child's birth.
